Empowering Health Through Movement and Heritage. At Qi Up Academy, we believe that true wellness is rooted in the preservation of culture. Partnering closely with the Orcanit Wellness clinic, our classes go beyond traditional martial arts by focusing on regenerative movement, grounding, and holistic natural medicine. Operating under the fiscal sponsorship of the Wudang West Cultural Heritage Center, we provide a welcoming, family-friendly environment where students of all levels can cultivate their energy, build resilience, and help keep ancient traditions alive

Our Manual Chinese Medicine Process

“Everything But The Needle!”

Step 1: Assess & Diagnose

Step 2: Formulate the Strategy

We never guess; we assess. Your session begins with a detailed intake and a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) evaluation of your tongue and pulse. To pinpoint exactly where your energy is blocked, Dr. Dan applies targeted acupressure to identify any disharmonies in the meridians or channels. This ensures your treatment is mapped precisely to your body’s current state.

You’re part of the process. We keep communication open and decisions shared—no black boxes or surprises.

Person analyzing a tongue diagram with small jars of herbs or spices nearby.
A person receiving a massage on their arm from a massage therapist in a spa-like setting.

Your healing doesn't end when you leave the table. At the end of your session, we break down our clinical findings so you understand exactly what is happening in your body. We then build a clear, actionable follow-up plan—recommending the right membership cadence, future treatments, or daily habits—so you can maintain your momentum and keep making an intentional impact on your health.

Step 3: Treat & Restore

This is where the physical reset happens. Based on your exact diagnosis, Dr. Dan applies a customized, dynamic blend of manual Eastern therapies to clear blockages and restore alignment. Your session may include Tui Na (therapeutic Chinese massage), cupping, TENS therapy, specialized soft-tissue tools, and active range of motion (ROM) work to immediately reduce pain and improve mobility.

Step 4: Review & Realign
